Tare joined the Murphy Team in 1999 as the office administrator. This position involves processing over a 150 contracts per year and managing all the commitments with lenders, settlement offices, appraisers, home inspectors, termite inspectors and, most important, with our clients, the sellers and buyers.

Prior to joining the Murphy team, Tare worked at Claridge House Cooperative as Assistant Building Manager. She had also run her own Fashion Design/Dressmaking Business in Nigeria for several years. In addition, she managed a wholesale clothing store in London’s Fashion District. She enjoys dealing with people of diverse backgrounds.

The idea of a cooperative or condominium was a rather novel concept, which fascinated and intrigued her. When the opportunity presented itself, she seized it to work with the Murphy Team which handles more Condominium and Cooperative sales than any other agent in Washington or the Maryland Suburbs, along with a very substantial number of townhouses and houses.

Now she is a licensed realtor in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. Within the team, she is the Rental Director as well as a sales agent.

Tare studied English at the Delta State University in Nigeria and has a Diploma in Fashion Design from Central School of Fashion in London, UK.

She has lived in the Washington Metropolitan area for twelve years and loves its diverse nature. She shares her passion for Fashion and her twenty years experience in dressmaking as a volunteer at the Opus Dei Center in NW a sewing club for High School teens.
